In this deep freeze we call winter
It can go one of two ways
The chill can cut you to the bone
Or snow makes you shovel for days
So we all just hunker down
And have a drink or two
And bundle up against the cold
Hoping we don’t get the flu
If you want a real good party
You’ll find it in the kitchen
Sharing lots of stories
About the weather we’re bitchin
In this deep freeze we call winter
It can go one of two ways
The chill can cut you to the bone
Or snow makes you shovel for days
So we all just hunker down
And have a drink or two
And bundle up against the cold
Hoping we don’t get the flu
Is it cold enough out there for you?
We ask each other in jest
Where do we put all the snow that’s coming?
In that pile with all the rest
In this deep freeze we call winter
It can go one of two ways
The chill can cut you to the bone
Or snow makes you shovel for days
So we all just hunker down
And have a drink or two
And bundle up against the cold
Hoping we don’t get the flu
We wear so many layers
To protect us from the cold
Winter ice makes it hard to walk
Take it slow, like you are old
In this deep freeze we call winter
It can go one of two ways
The chill can cut you to the bone
Or snow makes you shovel for days
So we all just hunker down
And have a drink or two
And bundle up against the cold
Hoping we don’t get the flu
Did you get your winter tires?
Oh good, were they on sale?
Watch out for the other drivers
Starts a common winter tale
In this deep freeze we call winter
It can go one of two ways
The chill can cut you to the bone
Or snow makes you shovel for days
So we all just hunker down
And have a drink or two
And bundle up against the cold
Hoping we don’t get the flu
It’s so cold outside
I just might stay home
Avoid the chill from head to toe
From inside my snow covered dome
In this deep freeze we call winter
It can go one of two ways
The chill can cut you to the bone
Or snow makes you shovel for days
So we all just hunker down
And have a drink or two
And bundle up against the cold
Hoping we don’t get the flu
Did you get yourself dug out yet?
From that blizzard, we had last week?
Watch your back, now, winter’s not over
When it all melts I hope there’s no leak
In this deep freeze we call winter
It can go one of two ways
The chill can cut you to the bone
Or snow makes you shovel for days
So we all just hunker down
And have a drink or two
And bundle up against the cold
Hoping we don’t get the flu
